About MobiMatter
MobiMatter is a travel eSIM provider with a difference: you buy, install and manage your eSIM with us, and for each of 190+ destinations you choose between plans from 30+ curated, approved providers, including Airalo, eSIM Go, Ubigi, Three and DTAC. MobiMatter is operated by MOBIMATTER LTD, a company registered in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 2019 by Ibrahim Akinci, a mobile industry executive previously at Etisalat, Zain and McKinsey, together with Glowfish Capital.
What we do
- Choose across providers. One destination can have dozens of plans from different providers. We show them side by side with the price per GB, validity, network operator and whether 5G is supported.
- Deliver eSIMs instantly. After payment you get the eSIM QR code and installation instructions by email and in the MobiMatter app. No physical SIM, no shipping.
- Hotspot on every plan. Every MobiMatter eSIM lets you share its data with your laptop or travel companions (tethering is included on all plans).
- Top up and manage. Check remaining data and buy top-ups from your account or the app.
- Reward repeat travelers. MobiMatter Rewards gives cashback on purchases that you can spend on future eSIMs.
Why one provider with many carriers
- Not a listing site. You don't get sent elsewhere to buy. Every eSIM is bought from MobiMatter and managed in one account and one app (installation, top-ups, data usage and support), whichever provider it comes from.
- Not locked into one brand. With a single-brand eSIM company you get that brand's plans and its one supplier per country. With MobiMatter you can pick a different provider per trip, or even per country.
- Curated, not crowded. Providers are vetted and approved before we offer their plans, so the choice stays good.
- Real networks, named. Every plan runs on its provider's partner networks, and we list which networks each plan uses.
How we choose what to show
Plans are ranked by what they cost and what you get, not by which provider pays more. Each plan page lists the provider, the networks, the data allowance, validity, and the policies that apply (activation, top-ups, refunds).
